The 62A11-02-250S is a 1/2" optical rotary encoder featuring 16 detent positions (22.5° angle of throw) with an integral pushbutton switch and 2-bit quadrature coded output. It operates at 5.0 Vdc with a supply current of 30 mA maximum and delivers logic output levels compatible with CMOS, TTL, and HCMOS logic circuits. The encoder utilizes optically coupled phototransistor and gallium aluminum arsenide infrared emitter technology, rated for over 1,000,000 rotational cycles and 3 million pushbutton actuations.
