L117DAFRA15S is a 15-contact D-Sub flat ribbon cable socket connector designed for compact peripheral equipment applications. It features a front metal shell with front female screwlock (M3) and rear threaded insert (4-40) mounting options, with 0.4µm (15µ") gold contact plating in the mating area. The connector is built with a steel shell with nickel plating, glass-filled thermoplastic insulator (UL 94V-0), and brass contacts with selected gold plating. Electrical specifications include a current rating of 5A, voltage rating of 250V AC/rms 60Hz, and contact resistance of 20mO max. Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +125°C, making it suitable for industrial, telecom, and standard I/O connection applications requiring reliable flat ribbon cable termination.
