The 97-24-10S is a general-duty, standard cylindrical connector from the Amphenol 97 Series, designed for low-cost interconnection solutions. It features a size 24 aluminum alloy shell with threaded coupling and a 24-10 insert arrangement containing seven size 8 socket contacts for solder termination. The hard dielectric insert is made from diallyl-phthalate, and the silver-plated contacts have pre-tinned solder cups. This connector has a Service Rating of 'A', corresponding to an operating voltage of 700 VAC (rms) or 500 VDC at sea level, and can operate in temperatures from –55°C to +125°C.
