MOV-07D511K is a 7 mm radial leaded metal oxide varistor designed to protect against overvoltage transients such as lightning, power contact, and power induction in power supplies, power systems, and telecom applications. The device features a maximum continuous voltage rating of 320 V RMS (415 V DC), a nominal varistor voltage of 510 V at 1 mA, and a maximum clamping voltage of 845 V at the 10 A class current (8/20 µs pulse). It delivers a maximum peak current handling of 30 A (8/20 µs) with a maximum energy absorption of 1200 J and exhibits a fast response time of 10–25 ns. The varistor operates across a temperature range of -40 °C to +105 °C with a typical capacitance of 120 pF and is RoHS compliant with UL 1449 certification.
