SMAJ7.0CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment. It features a compact SMA (DO-214AC) surface mount package with a 7.0 V working peak reverse voltage and a maximum reverse voltage of 7.0 V, providing fast response times of less than 5.0 ns from 0 V to minimum breakdown voltage. The device delivers 400 watts peak pulse power dissipation (1 ms pulse width) and operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. With lead-free construction and RoHS compliance, SMAJ7.0CA is ideal for protecting sensitive circuits from transient overvoltage events in modern compact electronic designs.
