CU-281 is an ABS thermoplastic utility box enclosure designed for housing electronic components and assemblies. The enclosure features a body and standard cover made from ABS thermoplastic with a UL94-5VA flammability rating and a black textured finish. It includes four #4-40 threaded inserts for cover assembly with supplied screws, and mounting bosses compatible with M2.5 metric or #4 standard sheet metal screws. The design incorporates a 1-1/2° draft on all outside wall surfaces and 1/2° draft on inside surfaces for ease of manufacturing. This utility box is suitable for general-purpose electronic enclosure applications requiring durable, flame-resistant housing.
