The S0991-46R is a micro-type RFI shield clip used for the fast, surface-mount assembly of shielding cans to a printed circuit board. Constructed from stainless steel with a tin finish, it is designed to accommodate shield thicknesses from 0.20mm to 0.25mm. This SMT component provides secure retention with a maximum insertion force of 19.6N and a minimum withdrawal force of 0.98N. By eliminating the need for through-holes, the S0991-46R saves PCB real estate and simplifies the processes of assembly, maintenance, and rework.
