The HONEYWELL part BXA4L is a MICRO SWITCH™ hazardous location switch that is designed for use in potentially explosive environments. It features an epoxy-coated aluminum housing and a side rotary design. This switch has a momentary action and is a double pole double throw (DPDT) snap action double break switch. It has an AC15 A600 / DC13 R300 rating and is suitable for use in NEMA 1, 3, 4, 4X, 6, 13, and IP67 rated enclosures.With an operating temperature range of -40 °C to 70 °C [-40 °F to 158 °F], this switch can withstand extreme conditions. It has a 3/4 - 14 NPT conduit termination and is compliant with NEMA 7: Class I, Div. 1 & 2, Groups B, C & D; NEMA 9: Class II, Div. 1 & 2, Groups E, F, & G; ATEX & IEC Ex: II 2 GD; Ex d IIC T6 Gb; Ex tb IIIC T85 °C Db; Ta -40 ²C to 70 °C standards. The BXA4L switch has received approvals from ATEX (CE), CSA, UL, IEC Ex, KOSHA, NEPSI EX, INMETRO, EAC. It also features an external and internal ground screw, allowing for easy grounding. This switch is field adjustable at 90° increments, making it versatile and easy to install in various applications.
