The HCPL0600 is a high-speed optocoupler that consists of an AlGaAS LED optically coupled to an integrated photo-detector logic gate. It supports data rates up to 10 MBit/s and operates with a recommended supply voltage of 4.5V to 5.5V. The device features an open-collector output, permitting wired-OR connections, and a strobable output for additional control. Guaranteed to perform over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, its internal noise shield provides superior common mode rejection, making it ideal for applications like ground loop elimination, line receivers, data multiplexing, and computer-peripheral interfaces.
