The ERZ-V05D391 is a radial leaded, V-series ZNR transient/surge absorber designed to protect electronic circuits from overvoltage events. It features a nominal varistor voltage of 390V, a maximum allowable voltage of 250V ACrms or 320V DC, and a maximum clamping voltage of 675V at 5A. This compact device can handle a maximum peak surge current of 800A (8/20µs, 1 time) and has a maximum capacitance of 80 pF. It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. Due to its specifications, it is well-suited for surge protection in telephone line applications, as well as in consumer, communication, and controller electronics.
