1896/5C-SL002 is a five-conductor control cable designed for general-purpose wiring applications requiring reliable signal transmission. The cable features 20 AWG tinned copper conductors (7/28 stranding) with individual 0.016" nominal PVC insulation, color-coded per Alpha Wire Color Code D (black, red, white, green, orange), and assembled with a minimum of 4.4 twists per foot. The outer jacket is 0.020" nominal PVC with a slate color and rated for operation from -20°C to +80°C with a maximum voltage rating of 300V RMS. This cable meets UL AWM/STYLE 2509, CM, and VW-1 standards at 80°C, as well as CSA CMG and FT4 certifications, making it suitable for industrial control systems, instrumentation, and general-purpose interconnect applications where compact, multi-conductor routing is required.
