The 2248C-SL005 is an 8-pair, 18 AWG shielded communication cable. It is constructed with eight pairs of stranded (16/30) tinned copper conductors, PVC insulation, and an overall slate PVC jacket. An aluminum/mylar tape shield with a 20 AWG tinned copper drain wire provides protection against electromagnetic interference. The cable is rated for 300 VRMS and has a wide operating temperature range of -20°C to 80°C. With UL Type CM and AWM 2464 ratings, this cable is suitable for various general-purpose communication, instrumentation, and control systems.
