F2211/8-BK147 is a heat shrinkable tubing product manufactured by Alpha Wire, designed for electrical insulation and protection applications. The tubing is constructed from cross-linked polyolefin material with a minimum supplied inner diameter of 0.125 inches and a maximum recovered inner diameter of 0.062 inches, featuring a nominal recovered wall thickness of 0.020 inches and approximately 2:1 shrink ratio. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +135°C with a full recovery temperature of 121°C and minimum shrink temperature of 90°C, offering tensile strength of 1500 psi minimum and elongation of 200% minimum per ASTM D638. The tubing meets UL Standard 224 and CSA International Standard 198 at 600V (except clear), and is RoHS 2 and RoHS 3 compliant. It is commonly used in wire bundling, electrical insulation, and protection in automotive, aerospace, and industrial applications where reliable thermal shrinkage and electrical isolation are required.
