The AZ976-1U-12DET is a 20 A miniature automotive relay with a 12 VDC coil, designed for high in-rush applications in compact automotive systems. It features a dust cover with epoxy sealing, operates at 12 VDC nominal (7.5 VDC must-operate voltage), and delivers 514 mW at pickup voltage with a maximum continuous dissipation of 3.1 W at 20 °C ambient. The relay exhibits an operate time of 3 ms and release time of 1.5 ms (typical, with no coil suppression), with a dielectric strength of 500 Vrms (coil to contact and between open contacts) and insulation resistance of 100 MO minimum at 500 VDC. It is rated for -40 °C to +115 °C operating temperature and -40 °C to +155 °C storage, withstands 0.062" displacement amplitude vibration at 10–55 Hz and 10 g shock (11 ms functional), and achieves 1×107 mechanical operations and 1×105 electrical operations at 12 A, 14 VDC resistive load.
