The AW2S-A is a heavy-duty, multi-pin thermoplastic connector from the Amphenol Sine Systems AT Series™ designed for demanding industrial interconnect applications. It features IP68 and IP69K ratings in mated condition, supporting mixed contact configurations with 25A (Size 12) and 13A (Size 16) current capacity, and a maximum voltage rating of 250V. The connector incorporates an integral latching system for secure mechanical and electrical connections, thermoplastic UL94-VO housing with excellent UV resistance, and superior front and rear environmental seals with silicone rubber sealing material. Operating reliably across -55°C to +125°C, the connector demonstrates exceptional durability with minimum mating cycles exceeding 100, shock resistance to 50 g's in three axes, and vibration tolerance up to 20 g's at sine sweep frequencies of 10-2000 Hz. The AW2S-A is ideal for heavy-duty, transportation, marine, diagnostic, alternative energy, and agricultural applications where environmental sealing and mechanical reliability are critical.
