The 908 is a silver-plated copper alloy wire contact for use within the SB® 350 series connector housings. This contact is specifically designed to accommodate 4/0 AWG (107.2 mm²) wire and is secured using a double crimp termination method. The silver plating offers superior electrical performance and high durability, rated for up to 10,000 no-load mating cycles. As part of the SB® 350 system, it contributes to a 600V AC/DC voltage rating and a hot-plug capability of 100A at 120V DC. These features make it ideal for high-power applications requiring reliable and durable quick-disconnect solutions.
