The MA12RTR is a microminiature memory card slide switch with a right-angle actuator, designed for compact surface-mount applications. It features ultra-compact size and low profile construction with surface mounting restraining bosses, making it suitable for space-constrained designs. The switch is rated for 300 mA at 4 VDC with an initial contact resistance of 70 milliohms maximum and insulation resistance of 100 megohms minimum at 100 VDC. It offers an electrical life of 10,000 cycles minimum with an actuation force of 200g ± 100g, and operates reliably across a temperature range of -10°C to +60°C. The device is supplied on tape and reel, is reflow or hand solderable (reflow rated to 260°C for 1 minute, manual iron to 305°C for 6 seconds), and features silver-plated beryllium copper contacts with a liquid crystal polymer base and actuator. This makes it ideal for consumer electronics, portable devices, and applications requiring reliable miniature switching in compact form factors.
