MJTP1230A is an ultra-compact 6mm surface-mount momentary tactile pushbutton switch featuring single pole-single throw configuration with excellent snap dome tactile feedback. The switch is constructed with a high-temperature nylon case, PET film cover with tin-plated brass bracket, silver-plated brass terminals, and phosphor bronze shorting contacts with silver plating. It delivers a contact rating of 50 mA at 12 VDC, insulation resistance of 100 megohms minimum at 100 VDC, and dielectric withstanding voltage of 250 VAC for 1 minute, with an electrical life of 100,000 cycles minimum. The device operates over a temperature range of -20°C to +70°C, features an actuation force of 160 grams ±30 grams, and exhibits contact bounce of less than 10 milliseconds.
