The 10762802 is an APEX® 2.8 series unsealed female terminal designed for high-current power distribution in automotive and industrial applications. It features two-piece construction with an integrated floating spring made of beryllium copper or copper nickel silicon, supporting wire sizes from 12 to 10 AWG (4.0 to 6.0 mm²) with tin (Sn) plating and optional gold (Au) plating. The terminal delivers a contact resistance below 2 mO, a contact mating force below 5 N, and an unmating force below 2 N, ensuring reliable low-force connections. With a tangless/lanceless locking mechanism and APEX® cavity design, it is compatible with APEX® 2.8 unsealed and sealed series housings as well as mixed and ErgoMate™ series housings.
