EN05VT1212NHH is a 5 mm side-adjust thru-hole incremental encoder designed for compact electronic applications requiring rotational input sensing. It outputs 2-bit gray code with 12 pulses per revolution and 12 detents per rotation, operating at 5 Vdc with a maximum current draw of 10 mA. The encoder features a hollow hex shaft, operates continuously over 360°, and maintains a rotational torque range of 10–80 gf·cm with a detent torque of 42 ±38 gf·cm. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, IP 40 rating, and a minimum rotational life of 100,000 cycles, this encoder is well-suited for volume controls, frequency modulation, function switching, and other small electronic applications such as mice, earphones, radios, and electronic toys.
