DV150K4032R2 is a medium voltage varistor from Bourns' DV series designed to protect electronic equipment against high voltage surges in the medium voltage region. This 4032 package variant features a maximum continuous operating voltage of 150 Vrms (200 Vdc) with a clamping voltage of 395 V at 1 mA, providing excellent transient energy absorption with a maximum power dissipation of 1200 W and peak current handling of 220 A/m/s. The leadless chip form eliminates inductance, facilitating extremely fast response time to transient surges, while the low-profile design (10.0 mm length × 8.0 mm width × 2.0 mm maximum thickness) enables compact surface-mount integration. The device operates continuously at +125°C, is RoHS compliant, and is available in tape and reel packaging for automatic pick-and-place assembly, making it ideal for industrial power supplies, telecommunications equipment, and other applications requiring robust surge protection.
