The PWR163S-25-1R50FE is a DPAK style surface mount power resistor from the Bourns® PWR163 Series. It provides a resistance of 1.5 Ω with a tight tolerance of ±1% and has a power rating of 25 W at a 25 °C case temperature. This thick film resistor features very low inductance (0.1 µH maximum), a temperature coefficient of ±100 PPM/°C, and is electrically isolated from its backplate. It is AEC-Q200 compliant and operates over a temperature range of -55 °C to 155 °C. Due to its low inductance and excellent pulse characteristics, it is ideal for high-frequency applications such as amplifiers, wireless base stations, current limiting circuits, and capacitor discharge circuits.
