SA2-7200-CLT-STD is a two-electrode high voltage gas discharge tube from the Bourns SA2 Series, designed for high isolation applications requiring surge protection. This device features a typical DC breakdown voltage of 7200 V at 500 V/s with a tolerance of -20% to +20%, providing minimum breakdown of 5760 V and maximum of 8640 V. The tube offers high insulation resistance of 10 GO minimum at 250 Vdc, arc voltage of 20 V typical at 5 A, and capacitance of 1 pF maximum at 1 MHz. Operating over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +125°C with matte-tin plating, this RoHS compliant device is suitable for applications including street lighting, medical devices, power supplies, and welders.
