The AN-2823-A is a NEMA die-cast aluminum enclosure designed for robust protection of electronic assemblies. The body and cover are constructed from ADC-12 aluminum alloy with a natural finish, while the included mounting bracket is made from 0.09-inch thick 3003-H14 aluminum. It is supplied with a molded silicone gasket and four M4 stainless steel captive screws to secure the cover, achieving NEMA ratings of 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12, and 13, which are comparable to an IP-68 rating. This UL-listed enclosure is suitable for applications requiring protection against dust and water ingress in various industrial environments, with a maximum operating temperature of 80°C.
