The SMS03NC is a rectangular safety magnetic sensor designed for applications requiring up to Safety Category 4 compliance per EN 954-1. It is characterized by multiple flux coding for enhanced security and provides two normally open (2NO) safety outputs along with one normally closed (1NC) auxiliary signalling contact. The sensor has an operating distance of 20 ± 3 mm and can switch a maximum of 100 Vac at 0.25 A, with a power rating of 5 VA. Housed in a durable 88x25x13 mm plastic case with an IP67 protection rating, it is suitable for industrial environments with an operating temperature range of -25 to +70 °C.
