The SCRN236R-F is a film-paper/extended foil commutating capacitor intended for SCR (silicon controlled rectifier) applications. It features a capacitance of 5 µF with a ±10% tolerance and a peak voltage rating of 1000 Vpk. This capacitor is capable of handling a maximum RMS current of 60 A and has a maximum VA rating of 1785 at 65°C.
