The DAR71275SU is a UL-approved, normally open high-voltage relay from the DA(UL) series designed for high-reliability applications requiring 7.5 kV isolation between contacts. It features a 12V DC coil with a must-operate voltage of 9V and must-release voltage of 1.25V, with operate and release times of 3.0 ms and 2.0 ms respectively (with diode fitted). The relay offers a choice of rhodium or tungsten contact materials, with rhodium providing low contact resistance (50 mO typical) and tungsten capable of switching higher voltages up to 5000V peak. With a maximum switching power of 50W, maximum switching current of 2-3A depending on contact material, and maximum carry current of 3-4A, this relay is suitable for cardiac defibrillators, test equipment, and high-voltage power supplies where excellent isolation and reliability are essential.
