The 1620-3-5A is a single-pole thermal miniaturized circuit breaker designed for automotive applications, featuring a reset button (SAE type 3) and rated for 5A continuous current. It is designed to fit into fuse blocks conforming to ISO 8820-3, Type F, and meets the requirements of SAE J553. The device operates at DC 12V or DC 24V with a maximum voltage rating of DC 29.0V, and provides a voltage drop of less than 150 mV at rated current. It features an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, a service short-circuit breaking capacity of 300 operations at 2× rated current, and an ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity of at least 3 break operations at 150A or 1 break operation at 2,000A.
