AMLV04V18C040 is an automotive-grade multilayer varistor designed for transient voltage suppression and load-dump protection in automotive electrical systems. It features a working voltage of 18 Vdc, a varistor voltage of 14 V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 58 V at 1 mAdc, with a clamping energy absorption of 50 J at 1 A. The device is bi-directional with a peak current capability of 0.05 A (8/20 µs pulse) and a capacitance of 20 pF at 1 MHz, along with leakage protection of less than 20 µA.
