AMLV18V16C4500 is an automotive-grade multilayer varistor designed for transient voltage suppression and surge protection in automotive electrical systems. This device features a working voltage of 16 Vdc, a varistor voltage of 12 V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 26.4 V at 1 mAdc, with a capacitance of 800 pF and an inductance of 24.5 µH. It provides a peak current rating of 2.4 A (8/20 µs pulse) and clamping energy absorption of 40 J at 5 A, making it suitable for high-reliability automotive applications. The AMLV18 package (4.50 mm × 3.20 mm × 2.0 mm maximum thickness) is AEC-Q200 qualified and meets MSL 1 moisture sensitivity requirements, ideal for automotive bus systems (LIN, CAN, CAN-FD), ADAS, infotainment systems, and various ECU protection circuits.
