The 80TK Thermocouple Module is a converter designed to work with any K-type thermocouple and a digital multimeter. It accepts the thermocouple's output and converts it to a linear 1 mV per degree signal, selectable for either Celsius or Fahrenheit scales via a three-position switch. The module covers a wide measurement range from -50°C to 1000°C (-58°F to 1832°F) and operates on a standard 9V battery, providing over 1600 hours of life. This setup allows a standard digital multimeter to function as a direct-reading digital thermometer for various temperature measurement applications.
