The 10-5002 Red-X Corona Dope is a thixotropic polyester-based red enamel designed for insulating and moisture-proofing high-voltage components. It provides a dielectric strength of at least 1,700 Volts/Mil, has a dielectric constant of 3.7, and operates in temperatures up to 220°F (104°C). This oil and waterproof coating offers excellent adhesion and has a non-drip, non-sag consistency for easy application. It is recommended for use on high voltage coils, rotor and field coils in motors, and transformers, especially in high-humidity environments.
