The 1583H8B1SBK is a 1U horizontal rack-mount Power Distribution Unit designed for power distribution from the rear of a 19-inch rack. It features eight rear-facing NEMA 5-15R outlets and comes in a black powder coat finish. The unit is equipped with a 15-foot, heavy-duty 14/3 SJT power cord with a straight NEMA 5-15P plug. For safety, it includes a 15 Amp, 125 VAC circuit breaker and a surge protection module rated for 1080 Joules with a 500V Voltage Protection Rating (Vpr). This PDU is ideal for distributing power to equipment in server racks and network cabinets while protecting them from electrical surges.
