The 1590A is a rugged, general-purpose diecast aluminum enclosure designed for electronic instruments. It measures 93 mm in length, 38.5 mm in width, and 31 mm in height, and is constructed from a tough, easy-to-machine aluminum alloy. The standard version features lap joint construction designed to meet IP54, providing protection against dust and splashing water, as well as improved EMI/RFI shielding. A low side wall draft angle of 2° or less allows for easy PC board mounting, making it suitable for a wide range of electronic projects and stomp boxes.
