The clamp has smooth, coined edges to prevent damage to cable insulation and requires a 0.203-inch (5.2 mm) mounting hole suitable for a #10 screw. This makes it ideal for securely fastening components in harsh environments, such as solar power installations, though it is not intended for use in marine saltwater environments.
