M24308/2-13Z is an environmental D-subminiature connector from ITT Cannon's D*D series, designed to meet MIL-C-24308 requirements for superior vibration and moisture resistance. This connector features a rugged aluminum shell with cadmium plating and yellow chromate supplementary coating, along with copper alloy contacts that are gold plated over nickel. The D*D Environmental Series provides peripheral sealing and is supplied with nylon potting cups and dust caps for enhanced environmental protection. Common applications include aircraft, missile systems, and ground support equipment where reliable performance under demanding conditions is essential. Note that the D*D Series is not intermateable with other D Subminiature connectors.
