The 63-0000-0185 is a 1-gallon package of Kester 185, a state-of-the-art soldering flux. This formulation is classified as type ROLO under IPC J-STD-004 and was previously QPL approved as type RMA under MIL-F-14256. It consists of high-quality, purified rosin with a synergistic combination of activating agents, providing fluxing ability much greater than ordinary mildly activated rosin fluxes. Developed for critical electronic applications, it is ideal for soldering difficult assemblies where process requirements stipulate the use of a mildly activated rosin flux.
