The MCP4021T-503E/SN is a 6-bit, non-volatile digital potentiometer providing 64 wiper steps across a 50 kΩ resistance range. It operates from a wide voltage supply of 2.7V to 5.5V and is controlled through a simple Up/Down (U/D) serial interface. Key features include a low typical wiper resistance of 75Ω, high-voltage tolerant digital inputs up to 12.5V, and Microchip's WiperLock™ technology for securing calibration settings in the onboard EEPROM. This device, offered in an 8-lead SOIC package, is ideal for applications such as set-point trimming, sensor calibration, and adjustable gain amplifier designs in environments with temperatures from -40°C to +125°C.
