The MIC5205-5.0YM5 TR is a fixed output low dropout (LDO) regulator in 5 pin SOT-23 package. This device has ultra low noise output, very low dropout voltage and very low ground current. The MIC5205 offers better than 1% initial accuracy and designed especially for hand held and battery powered devices. It includes CMOS or TTL compatible enable/shutdown control input. During shut down, power consumption drops nearly to zero. Regulator ground current increases slightly during dropout and further increases battery life. The MIC5205 features reference bypass pin to improve low noise performance, reversed battery protection, current limiting and overtemperature shutdown.
