The ESD5B5.0ST1G is a transient voltage suppressor designed to protect voltage-sensitive components from electrostatic discharge (ESD). It features a low typical capacitance of 32 pF, a reverse working voltage of 5.0 V, and provides excellent clamping capability with a response time of less than 1 ns. This device can handle a peak power of up to 50 W for an 8 x 20 µs pulse and offers a low reverse leakage current of 1.0 µA maximum. It meets IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 ESD protection standards and has an ESD rating of Class 3 (> 16 kV) per the Human Body Model. Due to its small SOD-523 package and bi-directional design, it is ideal for use in cellular phones, MP3 players, and other portable applications.
