The FDMS8018 is an N-Channel MOSFET specifically designed to improve the overall efficiency and minimize switch node ringing of DC/DC converters. It features a very low maximum on-resistance (rDS(on)) of 1.8 mΩ at a gate voltage of 10V and has been optimized for low gate charge, fast switching speed, and superior body diode reverse recovery performance. The device utilizes an advanced package and silicon combination for high efficiency and incorporates next-generation enhanced body diode technology for soft recovery. Common applications include VRM Vcore switching for desktops and servers, OringFET/load switching, motor bridge switches, and general DC-DC conversion.
