The MBR0540T1G is a surface-mount Schottky power rectifier that employs the Schottky Barrier principle for an optimal forward voltage drop-reverse current tradeoff. This device is rated for a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 40V and an average rectified forward current of 0.5A. It features a very low forward voltage, with a maximum of 0.51V at 0.5A forward current, which minimizes power loss. Housed in a compact, Pb-Free SOD-123 package, it is ideally suited for low voltage, high-frequency rectification, or as a freewheeling and polarity protection diode in applications where size is critical.
