The MBRA140T3G is a surface-mount Schottky power rectifier that utilizes the Schottky Barrier principle in a large area metal-to-silicon power diode. It is rated for a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 40 V and an average rectified forward current of 1.0 A. This device features a very low forward voltage drop, with a maximum of 0.55 V at 1.0 A, and includes a guardring for stress protection. Housed in a compact, Pb-free SMA package, it is ideally suited for low voltage, high-frequency rectification, or as a freewheeling and polarity protection diode in surface mount applications where size is critical.
