The SS24T3G is a surface-mount Schottky power rectifier that utilizes a metal-to-silicon junction with a guard ring for over-voltage protection. It is rated for a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 40V and an average rectified forward current of 2.0A. This device features a low forward voltage drop, with a maximum of 0.50V at a forward current of 2.0A and a junction temperature of 25°C. It can handle a non-repetitive peak surge current of up to 75A and operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. Supplied in a compact, Pb-Free SMB package, it is ideally suited for use in low voltage, high-frequency switching power supplies, as well as for free-wheeling and polarity protection diode applications.
