The AFM-01NO is a Normally Open air-flow monitor that uses a reed/magnet contact to signal the presence of air flow. This NO version closes its electrical contact when the air flow speed exceeds a threshold of 8.2 ft/s (2.5 m/s). It features a maximum switching capacity of 10W, a maximum switching voltage of 60V DC, and a maximum switching current of 170mA DC. The monitor is supplied with 500mm blue AWG26 wires and can be mounted using the included clip and clamp. It is commonly used to activate an external signaling device, providing a simple and reliable method for confirming fan or blower operation in various systems.
