The EX-13EA-PN is a side-sensing, thru-beam photoelectric sensor in the ultra-slim EX-10 series. It features a PNP open-collector transistor output configured for Light-ON operation and offers a sensing range of 500 mm. This sensor operates on a 12 to 24 V DC supply, provides a high-speed response time of 0.5 ms or less, and can detect opaque objects as small as 2 mm in diameter. With an IP67 protection rating, it is suitable for use in wet environments and operates in temperatures from -25 to +55 °C. Common applications include the detection of wafer cassettes and other components in space-constrained automated systems.
