The GX-H8A-P is a rectangular-shaped inductive proximity sensor with amplifier built-in, featuring PNP open-collector transistor output and top sensing configuration. It delivers a maximum operation distance of 2.5 mm (0.098 in) with a stable sensing range of 0 to 2.1 mm (0 to 0.083 in), utilizing an iron sheet standard sensing object of 15 × 15 × 11 mm. The sensor operates on 12 to 24 V DC supply with current consumption of 15 mA or less, and provides normally open output operation with a maximum response frequency of 500 Hz. With IP68G protection rating, operating temperature range of -25 to +70 °C, and hysteresis of 20% or less of operation distance, this sensor is well-suited for industrial automation, machine positioning, and metal detection applications requiring reliable and stable sensing in harsh environments.
