1511857 is an 8-position, straight plug, shielded, universal M12 connector. It features 360° shielding which enables reliable signal transmission in environments with electromagnetic interference. This A-coded connector is screw connected, which is a proven connection technology for a large selection of different conductors. Contact material is made of Copper Zinc in gold finish while knurl material is nickel-plated zinc die-cast. The product has Pg9 cable glands, housing diameter of 20mm, length of 62mm, and external cable diameter of 6mm to 8mm. Conductor cross section is 20 to 24 AWG.
