The MICS-2714 is a compact MOS sensor designed for robust nitrogen dioxide and leakage detection in harsh environments. It features a smallest footprint of 5 × 7 × 1.55 mm for compact designs and operates with a sensing resistance in air (R0) ranging from 0.8 to 20 kO. The sensor detects nitrogen dioxide in the range of 0.05 to 10 ppm with a sensitivity factor (S60) of 2 or greater, and also responds to hydrogen at concentrations from 1 to 1000 ppm. The heating element operates at a typical power of 43 mW with a heating voltage of 1.7 V and heating resistance of 59 to 73 O, while the sensor operates reliably across ambient temperatures from -30°C to +85°C and relative humidity from 5% to 95%. This MEMS-based sensor is ideal for air quality monitoring, industrial safety applications, and environmental detection systems requiring high-volume manufacturing at low cost.
