FSM101 is a tactile switch from the FSM100-104 Series designed for flush or extended actuator applications with a 0.472 inch (12 mm) square body footprint. The switch features a single-pole single-throw (SPST) configuration with an actuation force of 160±50 gf and an actuator travel of 0.012 inches (0.3 mm). It is rated for 50 mA at 12 VDC with an initial contact resistance of 100 milliohms maximum and an insulation resistance of 100 megohms minimum at 100 VDC. The switch operates reliably over a temperature range of -4°F to +185°F (-20°C to +85°C) and is rated for up to 100,000 cycles of life expectancy. FSM101 is commonly used in consumer electronics, industrial control panels, and portable devices where compact, reliable momentary switching is required.
